If At First You Don't Succeed

I intended to have some ice cream for my birthday yesterday, and took some frozen fruit and covered it with cashew milk and stuck it in the freezer. When I got home from the Botanical Garden's yesterday, I found it a block of ice with fruit in it. I put it in the freezer, hoping it would thaw enough so I could eat it. Still quite solid when I went to bed.
However, this morning it's perfect, not as ice cream, but putting the still frozen mixture in my Ninja, I made a delicious slushy. Which I'm eating right now. It almost seems wrong to have a slushy for breakfast, but there's nothing not good for you, and it tastes awesome. I used the tropical blend frozen fruit - strawberries, pineapple, mango, and something else.
So, I'm getting everything that's good for me in a delicious summer treat that I will definitely be making more often.
Have you experimented with food ideas and had to adjust it, and it still turned out awesome?
Picture is mine of the slushy. Thanks for reading.

It happens to me often as I love to cook and never follow recipes.

@marguicha That's the best feeling. You know you've accomplished something and you'll make it again.

My blender is broke. My roommate's generic NutriBullet is broke. So, no slushy here. But, Dollar Tree sells Italian Ice and for a buck a box, I guess maybe I can splurge...

I make smoothies or slushies with my homemade yogurt and frozen fruit. Yous sounds so good today as it is hot and sticky.

Exactly, and since there's no sugar and a healthy treat with frozen fruit, it's perfect.
