Of Course it did

I was going to work a while in the yard yesterday, and it got all dark and cloudy.
I hurried out and put the mower in the shed. It did not rain.
Today I mowed a while, and then we had a rest, then there was a cool breeze. I mowed a little more. And then it rained. Of course it did. Not much. but I put the mower out of the rain.So the sun came back out bright and shiny. Of course it did.
Maybe I can get a little more mowing in later. I will lock the mower up overnight though.
If things are going to go wrong, or cause delays, of course they will.

That's the way of things. Make plans and mother nature comes along waving her finger from side to side and tsking. "Nope, not today!".
Oh well I am sure you could use a little rain?

It rained most of the day Tuesday. What happened today was just a few drops. Enough to interrupt me.

That happened to me last week. Every time I went out, a few drops would soon fall, so in I'd go, and it wouldn't rain. All day long. Finally gave up on doing anything outside. It eventually rained in the evening.

It finally rained last night over night. Long wet grass as a result.

Yes, and then the rain makes the grass grow even faster.

I can faithfully mow every day about a half hour and still not ever be totally done.

If my grass was short and trim I would love rain. It is way too long.

This was just a passing cloud. Tuesday they had a lot of rain. We have been slow with rain for about two years.

Sounds like my luck... In the state where I live, when I was younger, I could plan on a good few monthes of summer. Now, due to who-knows-what, we only have maybe 2 monthes of summer. The rest is freezing and snow. I am a sun worshiper.

The weather has been peculiar the last two years or so. I am new in this community, but I know it used to get much more rainfall, maybe in May or June.
