It is raining cats and Dog

It is pleasant night here.It is raining here since early morning in varying intensity -some time drizzling and then suddenly turn torrent.Right now it is raining cats and dog here -the dog has support of my neighbor's dog who is at his best vocal cord this time. The more heavily it does rain more i see the possibility of deluge with consequence of all out closure including work stations. During my childhood when our cricket play ground submerged due to heavy rain we used to float our paper boat on it and also used to throw stones tangentially on its surface to enjoy the ripple effect. The heavy rains causes water logging in our street which we wade through when has to venture out for some domestic errands.How would you feel and react when you are wading such water and a speeding car from opposite side passes you splashing you from top to bottom ? Is there any special thing you would love to do indoor or outdoor when it is raining heavily.
