i really dont mind if GOd will give me a daughter or a son as my first kid. But if only i have a choice ill go for a son as the first child because i want to have someone than can protect my daughters from harm. Someone that my daughter that can run to if their dad is not busy at work. A brother that will defend them from bad guys.

I had a girl for my first child. A girl for my second child. I am glad they were both girls and close in age.
I have a step daughter a few months younger than my youngest and a step son who is alot younger than the others. I am glad I have them all

I think you should be happy with what you have and not strive for the son. It is expensive enough to raise one. let alone keep going to get a son.

I would have a boy, that's I always want, even girls are so cute. as a girl myself, I want my kid can play lots of sports, football, basketball, Kongfu, hehe, and lot of things girls can't do or not usually do. Just image, one day, if I walk on the street with my 20 years son, and his friends think I am his girlfriend or sister, how happy I will be.

I wouldn't mind how it worked out with birth order. There are more first-borns who are boys in my family though so I'd be a little surprised if I had a girl first. It would be a happy surprise either way so long as my kid was healthy and I think that's all people really want anyway.

hey be it girl or boy its really beautiful to hve them wow its wonderful girls are quiet but boys are naughty from day one really u are bound to smile at there little acts the way they cry when they are hungry or perhaps delayed or dont want to be disturbed when they are sleep overtime and play with a lot of energy and its babling, u dont have time to watch them too. girls are in total bliss and roving their eyes to catch a glimpse of its mother or just showing their anger that she hasent come to see instead the others are taking care. Its really a proud moment to be a mother.its like a magnet always sticking together but this is reduced when we go to work and its joy is great when we come back and see them.

Well, I have a lot of time until I decide to have my own children, cause I'm not married yet! But I think that I wouldn't give preference to whether to have a daughter or a son, the most important thing would be my child's health, there is nothing more imortant than that...

I'm not too sure i've never really thought about it. Some people say it's hard to raise boys because their so active, and it's hard to raise girls because of course their girls and you know what can happen. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as healthy.

I would love my first child to be a son. I have over 36 nieces and nephews (yea, my family is huge) and I have always had more fun with the boys. I find them more active, gives you a little more to do etc. and I like that.
