I had an anti- rabies vaccine. But I ate a small chocolate. I am not allowed to eat chocolate, cacao, to drink coffee, alcohol. Now I am worried that I will have serious adverse effects. I asked the doctor and he didn't explain to me why I shouldn't eat chocolate. Do you think it's dangerous to eat chocolate? Does anyone have this vaccine?

I never heard of that, but if you're reading this i guess you didn't have a reaction. Why did you get the shot? Was if from an animal bite? I see a few posts ago you wrote about a feral cat. Was it from her?

@dya80dya You did the right thing by getting the shot as any animal in the wild has the potential of having rabies. You have to seek treatment right away as there is a short time to get treated. You should avoid contact with any animal that you know doesn't have rabies shots.

@Debscrochet That animal is not in the wild. It's an animal from our yard. We have a garage and the cat can be found there. But it doesn't have rabies shots.

I had this vaccine, and I wasn't told to avoid certain kinds of food or drinks. I drink coffee every day, and I didn't have any problems.
