Depression and disgust The world is upside down Hate and disillusion Controlled by hateful clowns We will return to dust Once the inhalation is done We all know the conclusion The war where no one won Sadness and killing The world has gone nuts No one is no longer willing To spend the night in the ruts That odor That you’re smelling Is death from the world we knew The prophecy’s fulfilling This is the end of what we knew There will be no more beginning The time has passed for that Human nature might be willing But we are nothing but ferrel cats We wonder and we cry We lost the life we loved We ask the question why While we’re slowly pushed and shoved We put our faith and hope in them Hoping they would do right But they had their own agenda We trusted and believed in them Some people thought they were right But they turned our life into armageddon They took from us, all they need And left us all for dead They laughed at us with all their greed And left us no more bread They stand tall on their golden perch While we fight and claw and die They came and killed and left us in a lurch There’s no more fight, this is the last time Copyright © 2017 Steven Cetta All Rights Reserved ImageCredit: CoolText.com Other Image Credit: Pixabay.com Country, Lies, Poetry
