Date Planned

I'm so happy you had a date night! It does the heart and soul good.

We had a fairly relaxing weekend. It has been super warm here lately like high 80s low to mid 90s so that does not help anything. Sunday we spent time hanging out with some of our rock painting friends painting rocks and having fun. It was inside with Air conditioning so that was a plus. Then we did some Uber Eats in the evening for some extra $$, and it was a nice day,

I am glad you can go out on a date. We are going to have breakfast out early Sunday morning and then we take a trip up in the mountains.

I went out on a nice date Friday night to an upscale Mexican restaurant, and the added bonus was that we were there during happy hour so our margaritas were 2-for-1. The only bad part about that was that I had to get up for work on Saturday at 4:30am for an event I was managing. I didn't let that stop me from having fun, it just meant I did not get any sleep on Friday!

I am longing to go anywhere. I never do. Shame. I hope you really have a very nice time.

Last weekend I went and sat with Dad after my kiddos left. Next weekend coming up is my birthday. Hubby has a date planned.

I understand that all too well! I never felt safe when my kids were small leaving them with anyone so we could go out. The past 5 years with my boyfriend I think we have gone out once a year. He works a lot and until the last year our kids weren't old enough to be left home and a babysitter is expensive! I hope you and your husband will have an amazing time together for your date! That sounds like fun, I love date nights. I gave my cemetery tour this morning and tomorrow afternoon we are going to my friend's house for dinner and games.

A date night for you and your husband sounds wonderful! We've been married 52 years and we still have date night. Of course, it's much easier now that the kids are grown.

Enjoy your date night with your hubby. As for me, I don’t have a plan yet for the weekend. But once I have accomplished all my errands tomorrow, probably I’d go out and try a new restaurant over the weekend. It’s a Korean restaurant that serves authentic Korean cuisine.
