How can I write a book

Being an author is one of the careers i ever wanted to delve in. It is something i deeply passionate about. However, the problem arises when i think of putting thousands of words on paper. I just doubt from where these words will come from. I always have myriads of ideas in mind, but each of them, as per my perception do not fit for a book. when i think of writing about my own experience, it doesn't really feel worth sharing... i guess we have authors on board here, i am certain these challenges you also once faced, but you went above them. How did you make it. I would really love to get your motivation and advice. I really want to write a book.

I have published "scholarly articles," one book chapter, and several short stories and poems. But never a book.

Just start writing. Soon you will see a direction to go. Write in that direction and later throw out the beginning but save it for background/flashback material. Your beginning will be down the page somewhere.

I cannot tell from Mr. Ang's posts what his passions are.

@TheHorse If I remember right from Twitter chat, he may be a doctor. Or, maybe not.
