Have you ever seen a praying mantis where you live? Did you know they related to the cockroach and termite?

I have seen a few. I usually see one each year. This year I saw a baby crawling up the pillar in front of my apartment. He was going fast. My adults go slow. I think are just beautiful. Here is a link to find some interesting information about them:

Yes, There is some praying mantis in our area, especially in the fields.

@MsBooklover We have them but what I've seen here are brownish in color.

@MsBooklover It could be I was never in the right place at the right time. I have seen walking sticks here. It is an insect disguised as a twig. I saw them as a kid in the southwest.
