This dish is served at room temperature. Skinny rice noodles with a few bits of carrot, cabbage, shrimp, and cilantro. It has a bit of sweetness to it but I don't know what from. Anyway, only about 80 cents US$!

It is nice for breakfast because it doesn't make you want to take a nap!

@Jessabuma I love noodles, spaghetti, pizza and else on Dr. Paradon's infamous diet...but those things will usually lead to a nap! Good thing I am retired and have a no entry agenda!

Thank you. As far as the presentation, it actually came in a plastic bag and I just dumped it on a plate!

@muhamadyasin82 I have never been to your country but perhaps I may go sometime. I am not sure of Pattaya, but maybe in Bangkok, they have an Indonesian restaurant.

Expensive by Indians standards. I get a loaf of bread for that.

I could not find an official name and none of my Thai friends are around right now. So I guess we will have to call it, "fried rice noodles with stuff!" LOL, even the Thai's are confused! "Thai-Style Fried Noodles with No Name (???????????????????)"

The bit of sweetness surely comes from the carrots, if there is no added sugar.

Does it taste good? It doesn't seem much appealing to me.

It is not the best tasting noodle dish we have here, but it is light and nice enough for breakfast when you want something different.
