A bee sting!

There are a couple of beehives in our apartment complex and early in the morning sometimes bees buzz around the lights in the balcony or corridors and they also end up injured and on the floor. After watering my garden plants I was just removing my slippers when I felt a sharp pain in my toe. I had stepped on an injured bee and it stung me. It was a sharp severe pain that throbbed after a while. Ianaged to pull the sting out and washed and applied some ice. As it was a single bee, I had only a painful local swelling. I could still walk easily.
Have you been stung by a bee or wasp?

Both @pitstop but the worst was bees. I was stung by over 100 of them at one time. I accidentally upset one of their nests and needless to say; they weren't happy. Had to call an ambulance just in case I had a reaction to the poison. I had extreme vomiting for over 6 hours but I turned out fine and literally only wound up with some lumps on my face and neck. I guess the vomiting removed most of the poison from my body.

@pitstop After incidents like that you have to worry about any future stings causing a bad reaction too.

@pitstop It's painful but I didn't go to the hospital. In our hometown there's no hospital there before.

Yes, by a honey bee. I also removed the sting and washed the affected area.

Whatever happens, just don't scratch or rub the affected area. That'll just amplify the pain and make your life harder for you
