Judged by ethnicity

Do you ever get judged because you come from a certain ethnic group, tribe, class and not by your character and individuality? Some people do not take the time to know you. They just think they know all about you because of where you come from.

Definitely! I live in the US and in a city where it's culturally diverse, and still it happens. I was born and raised here. But I am also Japanese. I can't even tell you how many times I have been judged because I happen to look Asian.

Perhaps you don't even act Asian If there's even anything like that but people will still judge without knowing you.

@Keibah The sad thing is people will often judge anyone without knowing them.

I may want to know about a person and his/her background but I give more credence to who he really is. I stick with Martin Luther King, Jr. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." - siva

This is definitely the way to go. You can get to know their background and like them for who they are and not for what they are perceived to be.

Thankfully no. But there are people who judge other people , for example, the Aeta here, they are being judged because of their skin color, curly hair and etc
