How do you overcome laziness?

I thought that if I get back to yoga, I'll be able to conquer my laziness...WRONG! I'm slowly getting back to my old sleeping habit but there are still nights when I still couldn't sleep. Even the slightest sound would annoy me and won't let me get my beauty sleep at all. And having Danie has changed my daily routine as well. I have to take up before 6am so I could give her a walk before feeding her. Then I would drive my son to school, Danie tagging along of course! And coming back home, I just feel tired and wanting some sleep but couldn't. I just feel lazy and I want to stay in the house all day. Maybe this is just a phase and I'd be back to normal soon.

Been there done that. These days, if I have any chance to feel lazy (and be lazy), I will just go with the flow.

@toniganzon I used to feel like that a decade ago. Not any more, aging has made me think differently .

Hi. Hope you are doing fine. This is not what I would call laziness. I guess you are just tired, and maybe unmotivated a little bit.

@toniganzon Have you tried sports or physical exercise to overcome the laziness ? I personally am lazy when I'm not motivated.

It's laziness. I have been so for months now. In fact, I hardly go to the office.

Listening to music is also very effective for relieving laziness. By listening to music, the mood gets better. At least, that's the positive impact of music.

I feel lazy every day too. I have to force myself to be active and productive, because otherwise I would just lay around in bed all day and play on my laptop computer.

I'm sure you just need time to adjust. My exercising keeps me going all day and makes me sleep well at night.

That thing happens. I also feel lazy when I am at my parents' house. Sometimes, I would just be in my mother's room, her in her hospital bed and me on the hospital bed of my late father. The head part would be raised as well as the feet part. You got beautifully pedicured toenails.

I feel lazy and I know that it is due to the hot weather. The air coming from the fan makes me feel so sleepy.

I move a lot during the summer season. But now that it's rainy season, I just prefer to stay at home and stay in bed all day.

When the weather is as hot as it is now I find myself moving as little as possible. Maybe when it becomes cooler you will find yourself bussing around once more.

Hi, maybe it's just a phase and you'd be back to your normal self soon. There are times when I feel like doing nothing on a particular day too, but I have to fight it because I have to keep working to support my needs and the needs of my family. That's my motivation to keep going.

When you have many responsibilities to handle it is common to skip the usual sleep. Try to sleep sometime at day time which will make you refresh.

Maybe you should try to get enough sleep without someone interrupting you , try sleeping bills they might help you get uour required rest since you seem very tired and have a busy schedule

sleeping pills you mean? I don't want that without a prescription. I don't even take pain meds.
