Where have all the Bunnies Gone?

I live in a park in Florida. For years, we had rabbits all over the place. I used to watch them frolicking in the rec area across the street. They chased each other until they were tired.
The bunnies seem to be gone. I miss them. What do you think happened to them?

@HazySue Oh, me too. When I walk outside, I always look for signs that they are around. I saw a squirrel running up the tree in my yard the other day. I hope things are looking up. I have not seen any tortoises around here either. We used to have a lot.

I remember seeing sparrows like that. Now we have to travel outside the city to spot a few. Cell phone towers I believe are the culprits, as also missing trees. They are not strong enough to fight with bigger birds so they have gone to outskirts.

There are so many out of control predators in Florida like pythons that rabbits are food.

I'm sorry they've disappeared. I don't know what could have happened to them.

That is sad, hopefully they come back. I know we had some bunnies around here but a lot of stray cats came in and so they had to go somewhere else.

@DesirousDreamer I hope so because I really miss them. If a predator ate them, who will they be going for next?
