i need help organizing my art studio. i have a lot of stuff and would just like to hire someone to help. every time i try to do it myself, it becomes so overwhelming that i end up getting stuck and very little gets done. does anyone know of a company to help with organizing and/or tips/tricks on how i can do it myself without getting completely overwhelmed???

If somebody else organises my stuff then later I have trouble finding stuff that I need unless everything is labeled.

Just pick one drawer or shelf to do. Even if it means emptying it completely to get started. When that one is done go to the next. If you start feeling overwhelmed take a break from it. Go back in an hour or 2 and start again. By just doing one small space at a time you will be quickly done before you know it. And dont be surprised at some small adjustments to one you have already done. If you are like me things sometimes get buried and I find them in weird places. Also if you have a lot dont try to do it all in one day. Just do a little each day.

dispose of anything you don't need or which you can replace cheaply. Move anything you are not using right away from the main studio work area. Set out how the studio would look and work if it was tidy then concentrate on clearing those areas,
