positive thinking , right or wrong?

August 4, 2018 10:59am CST
Yesterday I went to a job interview, there I found another person who would apply for the same job, but he did not believe that I could get that job, kept saying he would never get this job, did not have the skills nor the knowledge for the job and that should have much stronger candidates competing with him.  So is the question why he thinks so? I arrived confident talking to myself that it is vague would be mine ... We always have to think positive just so we can get what we want, am I right or wrong to think so?

If it takes just as much time and effort to be positive and negative-I would choose positive. =)

Yes, if we want something then we need to have a positive frame of mind. I worked in sales for many years and when I went to see a client I always had the mindset that the sale was already made and I was just going to pick up the order for the sale with the details.

Positive thinking is good so long as it's backed by qualifications and actions otherwise it becomes wishful thinking

we must be positive thinking, but the most important thing is how we can realize that our dream may not come true and we have to face our bitter facts

Yes you have to have the faith and confidence that something good will happen. It could be anyones with the right attitude. Sometimes people get the job even if they dont have the best resume or skill, simply their presentation.

why would he even bother going there if he even thinks he will not get it. Everyone has a chance and the fact that he was called to go there meant he has the potential himself. I think positive thinking always has a good effect in everything we do. Basically whatever we think, we also have the world help us with it. its a force like what you think is what you are. I remember reading this in the book of Paulo Coelho that the world conspire to give you what you want, so if you think of getting it, doing something great, then the world will help you. if you have already pushed yourself down, then i guess you can't be helped.

Yeah most of the time of being positive helps a lot especially if you are doing something you have not done. Negative thoughts are just there to warn you but you should never give in to the thoughts they present to you. It is not bad to hear the negatives for as long as you do not become a slave to them.

Being an optimist (positive thinker) is always a good choice, no matter the situation is. We should always look for the brighter side of things, that's what I have learned throughout these years. I know it's hard when you are in a difficult situation but just give it a try.
