We do not grow that actually. Probably it is our national fruits cos we eat tons of them.

It is national fruit of Singapore. It has a really bad smell but comes out delicious in many dessert recipes. We do not find it in India. If it comes in our stores, people would just run away from the shop.

I'm not a fan of the smell but I'll put up with it to enjoy the taste of this ugly-looking fruit. I wish I had some right now. Yummy!

@oahuwriter the smell of durian is very typical
many people can't stand it with the smell, even this is strictly forbidden to be taken to public places, such as hotels, library or transportation media that has a closed room
but for durian fans, it smells like the smell of heaven, haha
on the other hand, those who don't like it consider it like a toilet smell
ha ha ha

I think this is an ordinary fruit, this fruit grows a lot in Southeast Asia. In countries like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and of course Indonesia
many people named it king of fruit because of its deliciousness, but the funny thing on the other side is that many people hate it because it smells very stinging
This is a unique fruit, you have to try it one day

It grows only in the Southern Philippines, specifically Davao, costs around 2 dollars /kg or less there but the price more than doubles here in Metro Manila. I love durian not only fresh but sweets and candies made from it, yeah the fruit stinks like hell

I've never tried it, so I can't say either way. There aren't many fruits I don't like, but sour, especially citrus, are probably my least favorite, and there are a few others. Is this type of fruit sweet, sour, bitter, soft, hard, whatever? I've never even seen one.

durian is typically sweet, but has a very strong aura and smell
some people really hate it because of the smell
but other people are very happy because of the taste
this seems to be the most unique fruit in the world
