It was $5.99 to rent via amazon and I've been wanting to watch it. I'm not disappointed at all.
It's supposedly based off of a true story, but the premise of this story was also covered in the Movie Rose Red which was based off of a Stephen King book.
Anyway, I am enjoying it so far.
What are you getting into today?
Have you seen this movie?
Have you seen Rose Red?

I haven't seen this movie but wanted to when I seen the previews for it. I have seen Rose Red and read the book. I didn't know that Rose Red was about the Winchester house. I have always been fascinated with the story behind the building of the Winchester mansion. It would be cool to visit the house, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Do you remember in the movie Rose Red when the group of psychics were in the lecture theater? They were looking at reels of a home and hearing about it's past. The house they were investigating was the Winchester Mansion.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It's been a long time since I have seen it, so I didn't remember that but I do now. Maybe that was Stephen King's inspiration for his book.

@morgoodie I am sure it was, and he was probably lucky enough to visit the place too.

I might see if it's rentable on YouTube. I need to buy the last two episodes of the series that I'm watching first.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I may see if I can get Android to play the Amazon prime video stuff. I think I have a free month.

@thislittlepennyearns I am sure there is an app for it. I have an app for amazon music (or did) and I have an app for my firestick remote as well.
Amazon would be crazy not to have an app for the prime video for android.

Sounds just like my movie. I will take a look online. I watch movies on a site where I can get them for free. I simply loved Rose Red and have seen it twice but I am looking forward to watching it again.

I searched for it on Amazon (Rose Red) but they don't have it in their catalogue. I have a few other apps that are free and I will search those.
I hope you can find Winchester, I feel like it was worth the price I paid. It didn't have as much suspense or thrill as I expected it to, but it was still a good movie.

I've been reading a lot lately, so it's mostly books that I have been into. Last night I finally finished The Tontine, and now have moved onto Daughters of the Winter Queen by Nancy Goldstone. I haven't watched either Rose Red or Winchester, as I am not interested in that sort of film at all.

Daughters of The Winter Queen sounds good. I like stories about royalty, especially if it's steeped in truth. Saying that, I have to be in a particular mood to enjoy it as well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Daughters of the Winter Queen turned out to be pretty good with generous lashings of history.

I am sure you will find one eventually. Some of the best films I've found are ones made in other countries.
