Only God has real power. Nobody else has!

Some of us want power, instead of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, even love.
Without any power, we often seem to see all of these other things as being largely useless or/and without substance, to help us in our lives, in a real way.
We think that all of the trappings are nothing compared to us having real power.
Real power proves things. Nobody can argue with power. So, we often then become power hungry, chasing pseudo forms of power then, instead of real power.
Only God has real power, and he gives it to whom he chooses, and who can be trusted to use it in God’s way, not their own way.
The steps to being privileged to use this power, requires us to gain in wisdom, understanding truth, and knowledge, and it requires us to be giving love out first.
God knows that any sort of power, even pseudo-power, on its own, creates only monsters, not God’s.
Anyone wielding such false power are false God’s.
Real power comes to you, through you, only ever from God, but only when you are ready to use it in his way, not in your own way.
Otherwise, power, used wrongly, just messes things up, in a connective way, the dominoes start to fall over, rather than being built up into structures of purposeful usefulness.
As the old saying goes, false power only corrupts, the ones using it.
Real power builds one up, because it is God in you, providing you, his power to work, through you, for him.

God always foots the bill for any power used by us. Remember that, or be crushed!

God has limited power. If He had unlimited power, He wouldn't little children praying suffer while they pray for bread and milk. I mean if He really loved us and His power is ultimate as people claim, he wouldn't let the faithful die of starvation. I am just a realist. God is just there.. but I'm sure if he hears us.

Thanks for your opinion.
We all have our own opinions and explanations for the way we see things as being.
This is the way that I see it working, it's only my own opinion.
God's power reaches to the ends of the Earth and back again to God, and yet for each individual, they have no power of their own, unless they connect themselves to God's power.
When we feel a lack of power, we often think that God's power is limited too, but for me, I think that this is because God's power is as great in me, as I allow it to be, and this, I think, is just the way that faith works.

Yes, there is no power that God is not the power behind it.

They say money is power but in fact, it means we are slaves to money; the more we have, the more we want becomes our refrain then.
I have met few with real power, the love they emanate is priceless devoid of worldly attachments. They just love without expecting anything in return; they don't calculate in terms of dollars and cents.
We can reach godliness when we are selfless and live from the love that is abundant, the more we give, the more we are left with and that is real power - siva

Yes, all power comes from love, I am saying here.
I differentiate between energy and power.
Real power has love behind it, whereas energy might or might not have.
Energy is usually associated with some creative process in God's creation, such as in our body, in atoms in nature etc.
What energy does is to follow rules and laws, whereas power never follows any laws at all.
Real power can work above all laws, circumventing them, and so even heal people, or bring them back to life, or whatever, including walking on water, at times too, because power lives alone, and energy is produced as a result of processes based on laws.
Energy is not really creative in that it doesn't know what it does. It is spontaneous and follows the directiveness of the laws that control it.
Real power cuts through laws, and is itself always. This is why I say that only God has real power.

@innertalks Yes, energy follows preset norms, is guided by nature's laws.
Real power is love in action, the ultimate that we can aim for, sort of godliness but not the creator himself.
Real power is behind our creation and existence.
We have the inner thirst to rise higher, what is possible, though we fall short - siva

@Shiva49 Thanks siva. Yes, real power certainly is behind our creation, and that can only be God.

Yes, I think so too. God is the only real power.

Yes, if we think that we have power, we are only pretending, and we are just fooling ourselves.
