Is it Monday already?

Ugh! That's how I feel this morning. I had a fully productive weekend and I'm just not in the mindset to start off this workweek to do anything. I just wanna go back to sleep. Because I'm already behind on some of my goals, I should push to do something today but my body is telling me otherwise. Sometimes I can become so overwhelmed because I would procrastinate to the point where I would have to do everything all at once on a Friday or over a weekend to get a deadline accomplished. The woulda, shoulda, coulda thoughts go around in my mind telling me that I can do better. This would only increase my stress and nothing would get completed again. I need to focus on my priorities.

That is first thing that comes to mind every Monday when I wake up. Weekends fly fast and always something on the to do list gets transferred to the to do list for next weekend.

@arunima25 Yes! I agree. I'll have a plan and then something else would come up.Then I would have to transfer things for the next day &/or week's to do list

@mesbakh I love Thursdays. It means the weekend is coming. Whether there's a lot of work to finish or not, it motivates me to get stuff done

Just take a deep breath and do what you can do-God will take care of what you can't do. =) One step at a time.

Have you ever tried meditation or deep breathing. They do help. I know what you are going through. I often feel this way myself. I have realized I do what I can. If I don't get everything done. It's alright!

Right. Try to make a list and follow it. Don't jump on the next activity or chore if you haven't finish the prior one. It helps sometimes. Discipline is the key.

@Friendlypink Yes. Discipline is the key. Though sometimes I may have to jump to the next activity or chore due to priorities. I'm learning to prioritize things.
