PenPal

I have been thinking about being a penpal. No preference in who my penpal is. I want to see if it’s a good idea. I haven’t looked up any websites that look for penpals since I don’t have a final decision. I just remember doing it in the 1st grade and enjoyed being someones friend.

If you are on instagram just search for the hashtag penpal and you will see a lot of people still doing it. But mostly it's an exchange of creativity rather than just writing letters. We send each other cards, stickers, washi tapes, etc.

@Janet357 Yes I have and I have penpals from United Kingdom, Malaysia, Indonesia and even here in my own country. But these people are planner addicts like I am.

you mean receiving letters from a friend somewhere? I think the shipping is expensive. why not.a chat friend? online? that's more practical

@Ajahnea agree. We lost that to technology. Keep it alive my friend.

It would be cheaper. I just prefer to write letters to people. I do it all the time with my friends back home. It helps me take time and actually write something meaningful.

Wow! I didn't know that was still a thing. I was told later that my own dad put my name on the penpal list on the newspaper. But mom was able to intercept and got rid of them later.

Probably, I really enjoy writing letters to people. Gives you time in between sending to do something amazing. So when they write back you can tell them about your adventures.

@Ajahnea that is nice but in this high-tech age, no one seems to enjoy writing letters through mail
