Got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday

My husband got a letter from his credit card company yesterday. He had no idea what it could be when he opened it up. I heard him say "what the hell?" and then watched him go back and read the letter. It was a check for $1150-ish.
Apparently they were reviewing past interest rates under some law (I didn't read the letter) and they had overcharged him (must have been for awhile) so he was getting his money back. Look at that! A consumer protection law working in the consumer's favor! 
Obviously we weren't expecting this money so we are going to put it towards our Cozumel vacation in November. What a nice little windfall to get.
