Leaving on a Jet Plane

It seems as if we have been gone a lot this summer, but we are about to leave on another trip.
This time, we are going back East to see our daughters and their families who live in New York and Delaware, including our four youngest grandchildren.
I am not taking my laptop with me at all on this trip, because I want to focus on my grandkids while we are there.
I will have my phone and tablet with me, so I may respond to notifications and comments while we are sitting at airports or before we go to bed at night, but otherwise I will not be doing much on MyLot for the next few weeks.
I'll be in touch when we get back at the end of August! Meanwhile, hold the fort down while I'm gone!

@LadyDuck - Yes, we don't get to spend enough time with our loved ones as it is. I don't want to waste those precious moments on my computer!

@LadyDuck - I remember those days, too. Now people ignore those they are with in order to communicate with someone else. Such a shame.

@Hannihar - Yes! You are the only one who caught the reference to the song, "Leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again." Of course, I do know when I'll be back ... at the end of the month! LOL

Have a great time, I live in Upstate, NY. The weather has been in the 80's but calling for rain this weekend. Hopefully where your going to be it'll be nice for your visit.

@Blondie2222 - We will be spending most of our time in Delaware. With all the heat and smoke in California, I think even rain would be refreshing! We'll be there a couple of weeks, so the weather will be better over time, I'm sure.

I like travelling with light luggage too.However you have to make do with your phone and tablet to do MyLot.Hope you enjoy your trip !
