Feeling Blue

No I'm not depressed and I'm talking about the color blue.
I'm in the mood to make-over my bedroom. I'm tired of the comforter set I have on my bed now which is in different shades of chocolate brown and cream. My room is painted a creamy beige so pretty much anything goes with it.
I don't want to repaint my room but I was starting to feel a bit drab and need a boost.
So, I ordered a very pretty blue comforter set which should be delivered in a few days and then I'll shake up things in my bedroom. I'd really like to rearrange the furniture too but that I'd need help with so we'll see.
This is what happens when I'm stuck in the house. I want to shop, spend money and redecorate

Also move pictures around, I mean wall pictures. switch up lamps too. I have much of the same things but I move them around from one room to another. However, I just changed the color of my comforter and curtains this year. I like change so I will sell what I just took out and have some money back.

I move things from room to room too just to give it all a different look.
I try to sell things so I have extra money to buy new stuff so this way it feels almost free

When we had a home I would switch things up every few months, just by moving things around and such. =)

I only change things if necessary. I go out almost every day and so I do not pay that much attention to the furniture.

I'm the opposite and I'm home every day so I like to shake things up occasionally even if it's just rearranging things

It is good to change things around once in a while. I recall when I moved into a house when I was raising my daughter alone. A friend painted the interior and wanted to paint one wall (behind my bed) a different color). I agreed and it did look pretty nice, surprisingly.

My daughter wants to paint her room with one wall as an accent color. I think it would look pretty.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, the walls were and off white neutral as I recall and the one wall was a shade of blue.

I like to change things. I don't change as much as I used to because I've changed so much there's no new way to do it. Our walls are off white, right now I have a green comforter on the bed but I'm thinking of getting an orange one and white and orange curtains. They should shake it up a little.

I have no choice when it comes to room, I mean in my situation where I always move from place to place, I just have the pictures my BF drew as the decoration.
I am jealous of people who have their own house and room to redecorate. go and have fun, it is therapeutic as well.

I think that my hubs and I must be pretty ho hum and boring.
We tend to like the same shades and things in their usual places.
Once in a while I will buy new accessories to change things up, but we're creatures of habit and don't like a lot of change.

I am lucky to have a large bedroom so there's a few different ways to rearrange my furniture. Now I have to decide if that's what I want to do

I always have other things I need more than redecorating too but I needed to replace my old comforter so this got the ball rolling

Yeah...it may be more number of years but i always like my room must be in pink colour...
