How I met my husband

So I was the loner type. I have too many dreams to accomplish. I really never intended to settle down. I worked longer hours, days and nights. And then I met this guy, who's too pushy in taking care of me. He spoiled me in things and memories I never thought was fun. He made me realize that there's good in the world. I broke up with him too many times, and too many times he came back. We fought a lot and we keep on being a better couple. There are things I can't do that he is very good at. I thought I can endure living alone with my cats. God gave me him, a gentleman I never knew existed that matches my weak points.
Have you met yours? Your happy-ever-after partner?

I had 4 partners--none ever lasted because I am not a compromiser and 40 years ago I decided I am better off living alone--now I said alone, not lonely--and I have never regretted it! I am a much better friend.

We've beem married 52 years, but it hasn't been a fairy tale. We love each other more than life itself, but it's taken a lot of tears and love.

@moichan Life is not smooth and so dealing successfully with the bumps is the thing to do. That is what love is all about.

How sweet! It’s good that you ended up together.
I met my husband when I was in college. He was introduced to me by a friend. Now, we have 2 handsome smart sweet boys. Our eldest is 15 years old and our youngest is 7.

It was really hard for me to find someone who can endure my temper. I'm way tooooo patient now, thanks to him.
They are usually the ones that last. Highschool sweet hearts, college sweet hearts, trust is built with time. Mine's still a baby.

I have one who is very shy, but he let me know he wanted to be with me. We fight sometimes but never broke up, and we have been married more than 20 years. I, too, found a true gentleman.
