Appraisal time in my company....

In my company yearly appraisal happens and it starts from August and ends in november.
So, Appraisal started in my company and we need to fill self appraisal. In that we need to write about our achievements/accomplishments you completed in last year. So, we need to fill everything in a proper format and submit to your manager.
Frankly speaking i really dont like to write these things. But, it is mandatory to fill.
So, you guys do for self appraisal?????

The school will ask us to write the term summary at the end of each semester.

Hmm, ours is also similar but i really dont like that, it looks like that we are marketting for ourself

Oh cool, so you make self appraisal for yourself only. It is good for you as that will help you in improving the performance

That is a good company if they do yearly appraisal. And I hope that compute it also fairly. I have been to some companies that there is a ceiling on how mucb your salary would be. Even if you have been with them for a decade.

Hmm, i never heard of such companies who will not increase the salary for few years. As, people will leave the company by getting frustated

Yeah, that is good for the company but i am not liking it.
