I didn't get as many books today. I had my nephew along with me, and I didn't want him to get bored while I searched for books.
I took Smokey and The Bandit up to be sold, and they didn't take it! I was a little surprised, but oh well.
The English Patient By Michael Ondaatje 0.25
The Well By Catherine Chanter $5.00
Murder On Bank Street By Victoria Thompson $1.50
I saw a book wicked that was in the POV of The Wicked Witch Of The West. I didn't get it this time, but I might next. The same author also had some from other fairytales / classics.
Do you recognize any of these authors?

I haven't read any of these books. I have read Wicked and all his other books. I think I seen one at the library that I haven't read yet. I loved the Wicked series. Very good tale from her perspective and it really gives you something to think about. I hope you get it and read it.

@morgoodie That was my mom's favorite movie. Whenever it came on t.v, you knew she would be watching it. I've never seen a play of it (that I can recall) but I bet that would be a lot of fun.
Haha, that's cute what your daughter said.

I didn't get it this last time. I might the next time. I have about $30.00 in store credit.
I see that amazon prime has The Wizard Of Oz right now.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have seen that movie so many times. My daughter was in love with it when she was little. I even took them to a play of it at our local theater. It was actually good. I loved that they even recreated the black and white in the beginning of it and they did a really good job of the tornado scene. My daughter was in awe of it.
We seen it after they were Dorothy and Tin Man for Halloween. When Dorothy came on stage, my daughter cried out "that's me" and when the Tin Man came on she said "Elijah that's you." The people sitting in front of us laughed. It was too cute.

I am not sure I've even seen the movie, but of course I knew about it. Since it was only a quarter, I decided to get it.

@LadyDuck It was on the thrift store's "bargain" rack. Which makes me think it's books that they want to get rid of, because there are books for as little as a nickel in some areas of the store.

The English Patient I've heard of. It was a movie and Ondaatje is a Canadian author I believe. The other two I've never heard of but just from the covers they look interesting.
We're not doing a garage sale. Too much stuff. Too much work. Very little help. Going to try and sell my books online.

I've never seen the movie, or read the book before. I figured I'd give it a try, especially since it was cheap.
Where do you think you'll try to sale them online? Ebay?

Singular, thrift store.
I sell dvd's and / or miscellanous items and get half cash and half credit for them.

I have Wicked, but I haven't read it. There is a movie based on the book too. I like the author. I have heard of The English Patient, but never seen the movie, or read the book. The Murder on Bank Street sounds good and I put it on my list on Overdrive. The Well sounds good too, but Overdrive and Open Library don't have it.
I'm still reading the last book of The Dark Tower book series.

I was thinking I would get Wicked the next time I go to the thrift store, which should be tomorrow hopefully.
I am thinking I will end up exhausting all I can sell soon and will have to just either use my vouchers up or wait awhile and then go back to the store eventually.
I'm not sure yet what I'll do. I like to sell them stuff and buy books twice a week.

I love Smokey and the bandit.
I also have Wicked!
But I don't think I've read any of those books.

I was surprised they gave it back to me. I haven't really taken a good look at their dvd section though. They may have a lot of copies of it.
They took Buffy The Vampire Slayer and it was in pretty beat up condition.

@ScribbledAdNauseum you can buy all three of them on DVD for $7.50 so it's not like it's hard to find. I bought mine at a thrift shop.
Buffy might be harder to find. I know that Doctor Who is impossible to find used in thrift stores/resale shops etc. Because once people buy it they don't want to give it up.
