We have a member here who responds to discussions 10 years or more ago. I think the chance of getting a response is very slim, they might have already changed to gmail and those discussions were done using yahoo mail.

yeah, that could be a factor. it depends on what email they created their mylot account with. there are people who don't check their email anymore.

@yoalldudes I rarely respond to inactive user, maybe they are busy or they forget with their own account, for sure if they are active after a long rest they will try to answer all who have responded to their discussion.

You're right. I sometimes search for topics I like and stumble upon "inactive" posts/users.

Yes, an old discussion is still showing to everyone, If you visit someone discussion you'll see a suggestion discussion on the right side of your screen that is related to the current discussion, there are times that some people still visit those old suggested discussion and leaves a comment for a discussion.
There are times that I read a discussion about how to earn on myLot, and there'll be a suggested discussion on the right side that has the same question but has an answer already.

@yoalldudes Yeah.. I understand it. But we can always go to the discussions (old ones) and can like and comment on them. Sometimes it gets revived well

@anamika161088 That's good to know that they can be revived. Perhaps with a comment or a like.
