Social Media effects

Have you tried deactivating facebook or any of your social networks? Lately, I've decided to deactivate my facebook account and I noticed how different it is when I had my facebook. Whenever I stop to rest from work, I automatically scroll my facebook account without even thinking and I can see a lot of posts varying from negative to positive and then to different kinds of Advertisements. Suffice it to say, I got drained out after a few days and deactivated it. After that, I suddenly could focus a lot more on what I would like with my life and my direction. It might be all psychological but it's definitely a good thing to detach from social media once in a while.

I've done that before, I always deactivate my facebook account and leave my messenger active so that I can still interact with my friends even if my facebook is inactive. The common reason why I deactivated my facebook is that I'm tired of seeing argument post, or hash post which isn't good for us (readers) I usually use YouTube to avoid negative vibes, since I'm watching videos that entertain me a lot than Facebook.

I was able to deactivate my facebook account and I thought that messenger would automatically deactivate. Too late I uninstalled it without knowing it's still active lol. That's right. It gets tiring when people become too politically involved and argue

It could be a wise move to get away from negative posts that can keep you down; sometimes I just get away from it to avoid such things; only check it if I have private messages from relatives or close friends.

Yes, and they are just too many to even hide those people who post negative or who argue a lot about topics related to politics

Done that. I joined face book since 2006 or 2007, don't quite remember.... around that time. And has deactivated about 2 years ago. It does make a difference. I am less attached to my mobile phone. I don't mind going out without my phone... And i am more focus at work and focus at my house works as well. I have less heartache with viral nonsense, families and friends bringing in family issues for the world to see. I come to the world in peace. If anybody call me to fight over stupid or baseless cause, count me out, i don't want to be part of any fights.

Wow. I'm hoping I could last for two years. I'm challenging myself upto a year but I'll see. So far, it's great not seeing "toxic" posts.
