I was going through my news feed, since I can't sleep and times like this or extreme boredom are usually when I scroll through that feed. I came across this story where a little girl who was given access to her mother's Amazon account to check tracking of a doll. She tracked the doll, and then ordered over three hundred dollars of stuff. That's totally a ground able offense. Not a just laugh it off and return stuff event. What do you think?
You'll always remember your child's first laugh, first word, first ... scam.

Who's in the wrong-the parent for granting access to their account? Or the child for ordering? I think that the parent asked for it and has nobody to blame but themselves.

@thislittlepennyearns Based on the fact that the account holder is responsible for their account, the parent should have tracked the package and none of that would have happened.

The child. The parent told her she could track the package. She should of done just that and handed it back.

I think the parent should be grounded. A six year old is still a baby why give them access to your account for any reason?

Six year olds have different maturity levels. There is fault for both of them.

I would have never given a 6 year old access to track anything.

There is a four year old who comes into the store with his parents. And he has a phone. I think that's just asking for trouble.

The parents should do something to punish her. They didn't do anything but send the excess orders back. That's not going to reach her anything.

This is the moment for the parents to teach this kid some harsh life lessons.

The mother should have been watching her account closer and known before the order was shipped. I get e-mails telling me I have placed an order. The child needs explained to her that it costs money. She probably in no way knows that. Might have just thought she was marking stuff she liked

Of course she needs to be grounded but in a way where she is taught the value of money. She probably doesn't understand it. I would be mad but also knowing how people are with flashing money around they were never taught the value of money. I mean she is 6 years old, she probably thinks dimes are a fortune and if you get a quarter you are practically a millionaire. We didn't start learning about money that is actually wasn't an endless supply until we were 10 or 11. So, to me, the parent in a sense is at fault because Yes she told the kid to only look at tracking but would you leave a tub of butter and markers around a 6 year old?No, so don't leave an account with the credit card information on it around them either.

@thislittlepennyearns That is horrible and some kind of punishment has to be done about her. She cannot do things like that and get away with it.
