Israel Prime Minister ,Benjamin Netanyahu he is a prime minister for more thsn 2 terms. Is this a democracy? He was choosen in a democracy way ,but should we stop letting prime minster serve for more than 2 terms?

I think it still is a democracy when people are still allowed to choose their leaders. It will all depend on the constitution the country has crafted. If their constitution allows them that a leader can ran for several terms then they are still under a democratic rule. Democracy is lost when a leader would suppress the rights of its people to express and choose who they want to lead.

Our presidents cannot be elected more than twice, but the two previous ones have done only one term. As long as people are elected in a democratic way, I do not see any reason for a limit, except perhaps for local politicians like mayors. They have a lot of powers in France, and being elected during decades may not be healthy.

In Germany, there is no limit. Chancellor Kohl was elected four times. That means he was Chancellor for 16 years. The current Chancellor Angela Merkel is in her 13th year.

@sigale The two German chancellors I've mentioned are OK. Yet, the idea that a bad politician can stay in power for so long is horrifying. Yes, better introduce a limit.
