Actually, this picture is not in the jungle but in a nearby vacant lot. Some bamboo plants started to grow a few weeks ago and somebody decided to chop them down. I guess he should uprooted them as well as they are springing back to life!

Yep - if they are in the ground, they WILL spring back to life - and then some!

You have to dig up all the area to get rid of bamboo roots. They form a sort of grid, not easy done.

Too bad it does not happen with money! LOL, my mother told me when I was young that money does not grow on trees!

Why would somebody want to chop them off? Blink. Anyway @DaddyEvil eats bamboos. Did you know that? Do you eat bamboos? I found that rather strange...all Americans are strange.

Yes, there are a few dishes here with bamboo as the main ingredient!

Green Striped Bamboo Photo is mine.
Yup! If someone doesn't want bamboo to grow, they will need to uproot it all or it may spread where it really isn't wanted! Long time no see, Richard! How have you been doing? Here, I'll add a photo of the bamboo growing in my yard.

If you don't pull up the root, it will grow quickly.

Uprooting the bamboo is not an easy task. I made the mistake to plant bamboo. Even if it is "contained" some sprouts arrived to get out and they are trying to "invade" the lawn.
