When I save these pictures to my computer, I save them by "Haul#x", this one happens to be the tenth book haul I have gotten. It's not the tenth time I've been there recently though. Eucalyptus by Murray Bail $1.50 The True Story of Hansel and Gretel By Louise Murphy0.50 The Known World By Edward P. Jones0.50 Half Broken Things By Morag Joss0.75 The Haunting Of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James$2.00 Baby Doll by Hollie Overton $3.00 The Simone St. James book I got mainly because I have read one by her and liked it. There were a few others I was tempted by, but passed them by. Now, onto my idea I was thinking the next time I go, I am going to pick from the bottom shelves only. This time I did pick from other genres, and I intend to do that again next time, but I also want to pay more attention to the bottom shelf. I'm sure the shop will appreciate it as they will be able to get rid of some of the bottom shelf reads, which I'm sure don't get bought enough. I bought a glass measuring cup and a little espresso cup that says "Starter Fluid" at walmart today. One is for when I start making lip balms (instead of using the one I have here already) and the other is part of a birthday present. Have you read any of these books? Have you read any of these authors?

I don't understand how you are getting books at Walmart so cheaply. Are these ebooks or print books? And what is Haul#x? I love books and give many away every year. Please tell me more about this.

@akalinus Okay.. . Haul#x is where the x equals whatever number I am on. I was only saying that that is how I save the pictures to my computer. As April said, the books are from a thrift store that I buy / sell from. I did go to walmart today, but that was separate. I explained this in the post, but I guess not clear enough. sorry. They are all print books. I post a photo nearly every time, and today was no different. If you can't see the photo then refresh the page and maybe it will show up. What I do is sell my brother's dvd collection (though today I also sold a pop funko of mine) and they give me half cash and half credit. Every book I get is free.

I didn't go this time, despite passing by two of them on the way. I will do that the next time I go for sure, I just needed to get home and eat because I didn't eat breakfast before I left, and I was starving.

@thislittlepennyearns I cored an apple, sliced a banana and am chowing down now. Yeah, I didn't even look at the food section of walmart or I knew I'd buy something I didn't need. I had ot stop myself from buying a pair of leggings that I didn't need.

I am trying to buy books from authors I've never heard of, and books where there are only one or two copies of it on the shelf. Trying to expand my horizons that way.

@morgoodie I just posted the "follow up" to this post. I didn't get as many books, and there weren't very many good ones to choose from. I say "good ones" with my criteria in mind. I need it to be cheap (no more than $5.00) and with a compelling synopsis.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I will be looking for them since we have similar tastes in books. Maybe I will find some more new authors to try.
