Can you directly say NO?

I am very polite and don't have the courage to say No on face of others. Because of this attitude, I have to suffer a lot. Now, day by day, I am practicing to say No, if the work doesn't interest me. Actually, I don't want to hurt others. That's why, I prefer to do what others are saying me (of course, that has to be legal). What about you? Are you of my type?

I was like you and I have learnt it a hard way that saying NO is important for me to survive with my sanity and inner peace. With conscious effort I have improved a lot and I am happy. This is the best thing that I have learnt so far.

@deba12 When it becomes a need to survive, you learn to do it naturally. That's what happened with me.

Saying "no" directly isn't a good term of "disagree" I only say "no" if I'm already pissed off to the person that I'm talking. There are other words that we can use to refuse but "no" it seems not good

@deba12 If someone asks you to go somewhere, you can make excuses like "I'm busy today, maybe next time when I'm free!"

We should learn to say no especially if it is against our will. I used to be the type but people tend to abuse you if you are very kind to them all time.

@deba12 Yes, every time when there's a situation that required.
