I find them very interesting compare to other shows like soap opera, drama, tough comedy and game shows are also good but I really like reality shows the best. I enjoy watching survivor, amazing race, fear factor, the bachelor and the bachelorette, america's next top model and the swan are also good. But I really like the amazing race most, you can learn a lot of things from it, can see a lot of places, learn about the culture of other countries, and know about their their lifestyle. It's a great show that also strengthens the relationship of the people who joins the race which is a good thing. right.

The coolest part is that they are real people providing their own experiences and personalities to entertain us... in doing so, they grab our interest in drama, comedy, competition and generally, Human Science! Besides, the celebrities are already making way too much money for entertainment value! I'd rather see everyday people get paid for being real ; )
Amazing race is a show to live vicariously through. It's really amazing the obstacles the players overcome, both physically and personally. This is a show where people really show what they are made of. Competing while in high stress situations. I love the cultural reference on this show too. It makes me want to travel and learn more!
Some of my others include; America's Next Top Model, Survivor, and Big Brother. I like the 'celebrity version' of Big brother called "Surreal Life" on VH 1 too! (music channel)

yes, i like big brother too. but only if the contestants are interesting enough. but ive always loved the idea of reality shows. if you notice, halfway of big brother, they care less already of the camers or what people think. it gets more interesting that way.

that is very true and that is what makes it better, they are always causious in the first few days but after awhile they stop caring about the camera's and off the go

I love them as well. They're are many that are great, but many stupid ones as well, unfortunately. The ones I watch are Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Apprentice, and a few others. I hope those ones continue. Others can go away. Lol!

I have to admit that I am a big fan of reality shows, and I have become quite addicted to them over the years. Survivor, Big Brother, and The Apprentice are just a few of the ones that I tune to every single week.

I think reality shows are starting to lose their appeal. I think the ideas for new ones are running out and they're playing out the old ideas.

I have to say that i totally agree with you, i have lost total interest in big brother now, i turn off as soon as it comes on but when it first started i loved it
