I would like to share what happened to a friend of my brother's. He was really a kind man but i guess troubles will find a way when you start wanting more, and wants to earn that easy money.
He started out joining networking and he did earn money from it, then lost more because the leader ran away with the money of all its members.
Now he met a friend of his wife's cousin and they started lending money to casino goers. They earned a lot from it as well having an interest rate of at least 30%, the money sure is huge! But she has already shelled out about 1 million pesos (at least) and this friend or business partner ran away with his money. ='( Now he has gotten this money as a revolving business fund from a bank loan, a bank loan that he has to pay for on a monthly basis.
He is a nice person and I wish him well, I feel sad this has happened to him. He has a family with 2 kids still on grade 3 the oldest, and he still has a long way to go but is already in debt. I wish things gets better for him.
Because of his desire to earn fast and quick, I think this has gotten him in trouble.='( Do you guys think, there is really no easy money, right? If its too good to be true, then it probably is.

That's right, ppeople who already have it from legal means can think of more ways to let it grow. They can diversify to scatter the risk of each investment. but the fact that he placed all his eggs in a single basket, so he ran away with this and now he lost everything.

@chiyosan That's very sad to hear. These scammers really doesn't run out. We have it known that those who are promising higher return of your investment are suspicious. We must avoid them. But these scammers have all the nice words to say to convince people.

@ZedSmart they do say a lot of good things - but we should be able to think and differentiate wha he is saying. there are signs in he middle of his flowery talk, im sure of it. so if there is a small doubt just think it over right? =) thank you eds for your response.

@rakski I think that is the real cause of his stress and worry too, because of course the "business" was not a legal lending so he probably has no proof and contract with this person. it was solely based on trust. You are correct here, so he must have truly given up thinking of getting it back. he is just sort of wishing how to pay off the debt that he was into now.

He has made foolish choices. I admit we all do. He has made himself in debt when he should be caring for his children.

I feel sorry for him, because he is really a good person and though he is working in an office right now - the amount of course is not enough to cover the interest of the debt he has to pay out. I know he means well trying to make money with his children's future in mind. but maybe - he rushed things and so he had fallen and had run into a problem right now. I hope he gets back on his feet soon and recover all the losses.

It sounds like this friend is sincere and means well. However, he is on the wrong path. There are many ways to earn money; most ways are not that easy.
Earning takes time and energy. Whether you are looking to earn online or offline it does take work.

That's right, He means well, sometimes gets swayed too but my brother always told him to be careful. but his decisions to go all out with the lending of money, he got scammed by this person fronting his "business' and so he lost money now.

The friend of your brother is making lots of money in the short time however it could end in a bad way. He could lose money quite easily. It is easy to slip into debt. Anyone can wander into debt and it takes a clever plan to get out of debt. I took on a mortgage in 2010 and from 2012 onwards I tried very hard to pay off my mortgage. I managed to pay it off in June 2017 after very much effort. There is no way to get easy money and it could soon end in tears.

It is wrong, indeed. this is the second time he got "scammed" if i may say that. the first was the networking and then the money lending. this is one of the reasons why i really think its not going to be good ending when you think you can earn money quickly. there is no shortcut!

Hi Bhem, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Though it has not happened to me, i am not very good at networking and i have no connections so i do not see this as something that i can earn from so i do not join such. We all feel sad for him, and hope he would recover his losses sooner rather than later.
