Most Unfriendly People Of All Time....

When my son was very small I took him to Benidorm for a change of air to see if his ailment would improve somewhat.
After a very busy but happy week for me I was looking forward to going back home with my kids.
I was on the way back to Pamplona from Benidorm the heat for me and the kids was tremendous and there was a woman a very surly faced woman speaking her own language all the time kept slamming the bus window shut every time I opened it for s bit of fresh air.
I said in Spanish por favor que estos son niños y lo estan pasando muy mal.
What I said in changing to English was please if you don´t mind these are children and they are having a bad time with the heat.
That did not move her surly face one bit and all she did was to complain in her own language all the way to Pamplona.
I could not wait to see Pamplona and see the back of that terrible woman and her cronies as they were going much further than me back to where they lived and that is on the coastline San Sebastian way.
She dared to shut the window rather should I say slam it shut and say that it was cold can you believe that with no air conditioning in the bus at all and it was 35 degrees there all the way that it was cold?
That woman and her group were the most unfriendly group I have ever met unyielding in their very antagonistic attitude was to say the least annoying but I just kept getting up and opening the window again and again.
She did not challenge me after that so we did have a breather for a while.
I asked myself if she was like that on a bus that was full of other people from all parts of the world what on earth is she like at home or whatever she wants to call it?
I could have been very rude but I held my own.

Some people lead miserable, pathetic lives, always upset or unhappy about anything and everything life throws at them. I'm sorry to hear that you had to experience a grumpy, miserable person like that.

She was as well and she got most of the group agreeing with her as well. I can understand that language a little bit and it was all complaints about nothing.
Their part of the country is really cold in Winter so I just don´t know she would have coped if she thought it was cold on the bus and 35 degrees centigrade heat outside and in the bus it was stifling.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I find it hard to believe that someone can be cold in 35 degree weather! That is our temperature right now here in Florida in the US, and the heat is stifling and unbearable. The funny thing is, my girlfriend is always cold, even in 35 degree weather, she normally wears a light jacket. Meanwhile, I have sweat pouring off of my body from the heat! But even if she is cold or I am hot, there's no reason to be nasty about it, like that woman and her group you dealt with on the bus.

@moffittjc
That´s right.
I think myself she was just being awkward and probably did not like having children sitting in front of her more than anything.
There are people that feel the cold more than others even when its much warmer weather.

She was and very much so.
I don´t know if she would have dared to keep doing that to someone else.
Although she probably would with that kind of character.

I imagine that its the way she is and that is it and its very hard to change someone with such a character.

I was so glad never to meet up with her again.
Although I did look out for her just in case.

No Bun he was not suffering and obviously used to that kind of heat and journey so he was not taking a bit of notice at all.
I did want to ask him but again like I say he was could not care less one.

I am glad she left the window alone after you told her about the children. I hope he is better.

Don´t think so as she was like that all the way back home and that was a long long journey to be in such a mood.
She was quite the most nastiest person ever.

Yes a very bad hair day and a good job I was being distracted by my children and doing all I could to keep that window open.
A few of the coaches were quite dreadful really just making you hotter than it was outside and she said she was cold.
Cold my foot she just wanted to kick out at someone.

@Courage7
He got much much better then took to smoking just like all of his friends and then he saw the futility of it and gave it up thank goodness.
After all the work I had put into it but that is the way things happen sometimes.
Actually he has much less allergy than before as he works in the street and I used to take him downstairs for really long hours of fresh air and I ended up more exhausted than him.

He did somewhat thank you.
It was tough being on my own and with the treatment I was having to give him every day.
In the end I had to change Doctor´s altogether to get anywhere with the whole problem.

Don't you just Love people like this? Wonder how they can live with themselves. I used to work with someone like this who always was trying to make my life miserable. Glad you were able to stick up for yourself and make your opinion known.

That's sad that a person would put their own needs above a child's. Rude? Inconsiderate and self centered is what I say. Sorry such a good trip had a bad ride home.
Some people. I'm telling you, they like to suck the fun and life experiences out of everyone around them.

Very self centred and spoiling for an argument of some kind.
But I did not let her argue with me I kept getting up and opening the window when it seemed she was asleep because if not we would have roasted.

All too true and I don´t know if she has ever been tolerant of children at all.
She was just out to be nasty and that was it.
I had to put up with her but I did my very best and kept sneaking the window open just a bit here and there otherwise I don´t know how we would have gotten back home.

You did very well to stand up for yourself and your children. I know myself when the comfort of my children is at stake I can be a bear in their defense.

Thank you and it was a journey back that was hard to forget for a while.
I did want to protest to the driver but I could see that his attitude was a could not care less one and that woman was in a group that were altogether taking up the bus mostly apart from a few others.

They were small kids and they don´t tolerate the heat as well as what we do.
Unabashed by what I said she got up and slammed the window shut again.
Perhaps she did not have small children I have no idea.

Lucky for us there were a few stops and we found some cool air for a while but in some very overheated places with lots of dirty floors things which I don´t care for at all.
Pamplona never seemed so nice as to when I got to it that time.

I was kept busy with my two kids to be too much bothered by her and also I have that optimist attitude that she was just going to give up doing that but she did not give up.
The heck she did not give up once.
