Alcohol and friends

I have a friend who does not drink a lot of alcohol, but from time to time he drinks with me, I enjoy drinking with him, only when he drinks he does not want to stop and I worry about his attitude, he wants to continue drinking until he loses consciousness, I would like to know what to do to control it since I appreciate it very much.
