Life after Flood

Kerala faced a huge flood in the history in these five days. Death toll raises more than 250 and there are 10 lakh ( 10 thousand hundred) people in relief camp. Many people have no homes or farming land. People of Kerala, Army, Navy persons united for relief work and done a good work to save the people from remote places and homes. Many personalities including filim stars, Non residential Indians, other states of India donate and helped the Malaya lies. Qatar, UAE also gives their kind helping hand.

@LadyDuck Thanks Anna for your concern. There are no heavy rain now. But there are lot of people in relief camps still now without food or dress. Re habitation work is a great task for the government.

With God's Grace there is no problem here. River Periyar is near here approximate 3 Kilo Meters . But there is no problem , major problems occurs in the down lands and good portion of Kochi.

Yes. It is really a pathetic condition after flood. piles of mud every where. lack of drinking water. Volunteers take lead to clean homes .

There are causalities, losing of homes, roads, bridges buildings. Rebuilding Kerala should take time. I think donations will help the people who are homeless and without properties.

Everyone is standing with Kerala. I hope the situation returns to normal soon. It seems a while they will be back to foot for the huge loss of property and other damages. Today one bridge broke due to heavy rain .

Yes thanks Arunima. Water level in Idukki and Mulleperiyar comes down and there is no heavy rain now. Government took back the caution order among people. Now the climate is good. Hope that re habitation works of people should go fast.

@arunima25 Thank you Arunima. Life is gradually come back to normal. But there are so many mud inside almost all houses. furniture and electrical equipment are damaged in water. And lot of snakes in side many houses.

@shshiju We are all hoping for the situation to return back to normal. We actively collected items for relief camps in our apartment complex and two trucks already left one yesterday and one just now.
