She is Always Texting Me

Do you know someone who is always texting instead of calling? I am old school and most of the time if I want to communicate with someone I would prefer a phone call. My sister was texting me to make sure we got home OK and then all yesterday morning. It is nice she wants to talk, but I really prefer a phone call. I mean texting has it's place if you are somewhere like on public transportation, or in a restaurant and you can't really call, or if you are at work or otherwise engaged..but it most cases I think a phone call is better. Don't you? The next time she goes on a texting frenzy I am gonna ask her to call me instead.

Sis and I just talk a normal amount. Neither of us is overly verbose.

why not? but I noticed that it is cheaper to voice call here than to send text messages. But for my Thai boss who is difficult to understand when she speaks English, I prefer text.
It is her style. Although I prefer voice call than texting, I send text message instead because sometimes a phonecall may disturb the person on the next line.
Did you tell her that you prefer talking ?

Most of the time I do not like talking on the phone. I do not text a lot because i do not like doing it on the phone. I am more of an e-mail person.

I am more of an e-mail and facebook and My Lot writer than a letter writer. I write letters to those that send me letters. Otherwise I prefer communication on the computer.

@snowy22315 If the conversation is long, it's time consuming.

well, sometimes it is much better to call. But in my mom's case where she cannot hear clearly it is better texting her because she has her reading glasses so she will read my messages. If I call her, I have to shout at the top of my lungs for her to hear me.

I don't have that app..so it is just on my phone. I have lots of texts on my plan so that is OK in terms of that.

I prefer texting. I only make call for very important situation or when i really need immediate response.
In fact, I seldom text or call people. I don't spend much time with my mobile phone. I prefer face to face communications, for both work and friends/family matters.
And I don't entertain office calls in my private lines after office hours, because the nature of my work does not require providing services after daily close of business.

I only text people when I am sending a quotes... hehehehe and sometimes when I don't have load to call. But I always prefer to call somebody even if I only have to say a few words because it is much easier to communicate. I hate people who keep on texting when there are urgent things.

I don't have a cell phone. But I can text though email. I do text my mother when she is at work. I do call her when she gets off. I text my fiance since he sometimes doesn't answer his phone.
