Brain-Dead on myLot

Do you ever become "brain-dead" when it is time to write a new post on myLot? It happens to me a lot.
I had ideas before I started but when I click on Discuss, they abandon me. I can't think of anything to say. My mind goes, "Bibble, bibble, bibble."
Does that happen to you or can you always come up with a post?

@LadyDuck I rarely post a discussion, I read and comment most of the time.
That's a good strategy, it's easier for me to respond to discussions instead of making new discussions.

@stringer321 This is the reason why I like this site. You are not obliged to post, you can read and comment only and it's fine.

I interact mainly through reading other posts and then notifications. But posts are not my things here.

@marguicha Wow !!! with more than 4600 discussion started you still say posts are not your things here ?
:-)
What can I say then ? I'm a little dust particle compared to your activity and number of discussions here, discussions are not my strong side too. I wish I had 10% of your number of discussions.

@stringer321 You can do that. Just start commenting and if you think of something good, post a discussion. I have been here for a while. You are new here, aren't you?

All the time... Even when I want to try and respond back to someone or start a New discussion, it seems like my mind tends to go in twenty different directions

I think that happens to all of us at times. When that happens, I start posting on other discussions because often there is something in someone's discussions that will trigger an idea.

You are right, I think that you have a good general knowledge if many things trigger a respond at you. You can relate to many things that others write about. That's good. I try to have some knowledge for responds on comments too.

Sometimes.
Sometimes I forget what it was I wanted to write about
Sometimes I forget the way I had it "written out" in my mind.
I've gone to bed, thought of something but then thought "oh I'll remember it."
Nope.
I hadn't.

@akalinus For me, it is sometimes getting people to understand. I sometimes make obscure references and people are lost, not getting the joke, or a combination of the two.

@MALUSE I have been at several sites. I wrote for Helium, Yahoo, Bubblews, some Australian websites, and some other sites. All have folded. I was heartbroken when Yahoo went down the drain. I wrote assignments there and loved it. I want to write for magazines again but spend most of my time here and on some earning sites.

@scarlet_woman Yes, you are right about that. Sometimes I think something will do great and it only gets a few responses. Some I have doubts about and they do great.

@allknowing There is a guy I like but he is not impressed. We danced and I stepped on his feet.

@arunima25 I hope you have read the guidelines. Some things are not allowed. Jokes, recipes, birthday posts and I forget what else.

@akalinus Sometimes I write the discussion and the connection goes off and I am totally blank. Many of my discussions got lost like that. It's there now and then gone with the wind.

I can relate to that too. That’s why I mostly do commenting than posting on my own. I usually looked for topics that interest me then respond to it. Starting my own post is the hardest part. You have the idea/topic but starting it is the most difficult part. But when you have started at least the first few sentences the flow just goes on.

@akalinus You can describe me as "same old, same old" as I do a music and TV post every day and I do travel posts after I take a trip. Sprinkle in some food, movie and book reviews.
