I used a lot of sites where I comunicated with other people in english but they knew english very poorly so I didn't care much do I write it all perfectly. Now that I'm here I'm trying to improve english again, since I knew it very well at school (4 years ago). I only didn't speak english well but I was good at understanding, grammar... Now I feel like im forgeting it, since I'm only watching movies, and it doesn't take much just to understand what people are saying. I hope this site will motivate me to get better. What is your native language? Mine is Serbian. Do you have trouble with english?

English is the only language that I even understand. I took Spanish in college, but after a few years I have almost forgotten everything I learned. The trouble with English and I think why it is hard for some people is because there are so many meaning in the way a word is used, Also, I don't know about other places in the world, but In the US people use a lot of slang when they talk. I could see how this could be confusing to someone trying to learn English.

Yes we have slang too, I don't think its a problem. Also in some part of my country we have accents that even I cant understand. And we have "padezi" (changing the word that depends of meaning the sentence) and unlike english we say verbs different if you are a boy or a girl. So english is not even that hard language, but it just takes some time to learn it properly and some people don't care, since they can comunicate only with basics.
