I went through a divorce almost 5 years ago and while I was going through it my kids blamed me for everything but that was because their father told them lies about me. My daughter just blew me away and sent me a message and told me she understood why I left and she worries about me and misses me. I think she realizes now that her dad is the one that cause all the hurt and why I left there. I just had to share this because some of you that know me from the old days of mylot when I posted about me getting a divorce know how bad of a time I had. She made me feel real good when she messaged me this.

I know we have both been on this site for many years now, but I don't remember your divorce. I'm glad your daughter has come around and I hope you two can rebuild your relationship now.

I think we will now that she has come out with this. She told me she does not listen to anything anyone says bad about me

@Tina30219 I am glad. Sometimes it's just a matter of letting time go by, and letting people see for themsleves what is going on. I've been in situations where I've seen people "brainwashed" and I've also been the one "brainwashed".

I understand how difficult it will be to be blamed for not doing the mistake. I am glad that your daughter understands you now and that is all that is needed. Happy for you two to be able to travel along together from here on.
