Over $200.00

That's how much I've received thus far by selling things to that thrift shop. I couldn't tell you how much in vouchers, but I think atleast $150.00 give or take. Not so bad, huh? Plus, I have thought of other things I am sure the store will take and that I do not need. It feels good to get rid of things while at the same time earning a little for the effort.

Not bad at all :) It is nice to get some money back for items you don't need / want anymore.

Agreed. I might have been able to get a little ore had I sold on ebay, but ebay is no guarantee. This place is.

It's closer to $300.00 than $200.00, but yup. I have one book on writing that I am going to sell, two board games that are no longer played, and my fitbit bands. After that, It will probably be awhile before I go there to sell things.

@ScribbledAdNauseum do you still use your Fitbit? That reminds me that I haven't gotten my pedometer from wish yet. I wonder if it'll show soon.

That is great. Keep up the good work. I am purchasing a lot more now online because I need stuff for my apartment and Ebates helps me by giving back percents and I get some money trickling in to my PayPal I like that.

I have an ebates account but I never think to log into it and do my shopping through them. Aren't there certain guidelines you have to follow? Like "You get 5% cash back on ebay but only in these departments?"

@RasmaSandra Wow, that's not bad. I've done cashback with swagbucks before. I think I need to log back into my ebates before I start buying things online, the next time.

@ScribbledAdNauseum it pops up on most any site I buy from with cash back offers. I am close to getting 30$ so far.

I am going to keep selling things for as long as I can, but I am running out of things that I want to get rid of, and that I think they'll take.

@Courtlynn A lot of things I'll be giving to goodwill. I may try some things on ebay, but I am not sure. Some of these are knick knacks that have very little value.

Sounds great. You have done a great job at selling your stuff. I wish I knew of some place like that around me. I would so be there daily. LOL. Hope you continue to do so well selling there.

I don't think I have a lot more that I can sell. I am considering selling a book I've had for a long time and that I don't think I"ll ever read. I've sold a couple of other books like that to this place already. Then there are some coloring books and a few CD's. Other then that, I think I've exhausted all I can sell. Have you typed in "used book stores in _ _ _ _ _ " that's what I do. Where the _ _ _ _ _ equal the zipcode.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I haven't but I know there used to be one close to me but they closed. I may have to try finding a store that will buy some things around the house.

@domiwla No, I suppose I get addicted to the feeling of when they tell me how much they'll give me for something.

It is nice to earn money for things that are just lying around. Your thriftstore must be more like a consignment shop..or do they pay you just for bringing things in?

It's a media thrift store. Books, DVDs, Records,Cds, Comic Books, Manga Books, Board Games, *Takes Breath*, Coloring Books, Blank Journal Books, Fitbits, All manner of cords, Video Games.. Etc.. Etc.. Etc.. It's a buy / sell / trade type shop really, but I call it the "thrift" shop.

That is awesome! I use a consignment shop for my unwanted things and made $1050 the first time. I couldn't believe it!

Oh wow, that's an amazing price! I am going to be selling my xbox one soon, and I hope to net atleast $80.00 from it in one go. I haven't really played video games in years.

Well, rearranging house to be more precise. I'm exchanging dvds for books for the most part. The shelves that were full of DVDs will now be full of books but oh well.
