What are some uses for construction paper?

I have a lot of excess construction paper from when I was younger and I really have no use for it currently. Is there anything I could do with it so it doesn't go to waste?

I think often such paper is given to school and other places. I know many of such unused stuff is given to the charity as well.

You could use it to make 3D mats for inside shadowbox frames, scrap-booking, origami and possibly some decoupage work

Construction paper can be used in designing you rooms and other thongs at home.. can be recycled to create an artworks...
