Afternoon Delight

Just as I was about to start the mower to cut the grass, a monarch butterfly landed on my shoulder and said hello.
After finishing the mowing, I sat outside in the back yard reading a book and I heard this lovely bird call. Turned out to be a pair of mourning doves. I didn't know they did anything other than moan.

Yeah, that's why I was delighted that these weren't singing the "woe is me" blues.
