For some reason lately, this is one of my Biggest issues. Knowing there are things we really need to get done, and taking a long time to get them done, and then many times being rushed because we have a thought of waiting until it is almost too late.
How many can relate? Or are you one when you get handed a job, or chore, etc you rush and get things done to where you never have to worry about it again?
What is one of the things you procrastinate the most on? Mine is housework.

When someone asks me to do something, I always take quick action and get everything done as soon as possible. I always like to have a clean desk in case there is an emergency.
When I was in grade school we had to read a book where the moral was to never put off for tomorrow what can be done today. I never forgot that!

There are many days I wish I could still do that. But anytime you make yourself do the things you are thinking about getting done today, and actually get them done, I know myself the feeling of accomplishment is so much better

That has been me a lot of times. Problem is when I can'r get it done, then I want to hit myself for not starting on it sooner so it could have gotten done in time

I have been bad at keeping up with paperwork lately. I have a stack of bills that need to be sorted and put away. I was even lazy and saved the kids school papers for last minute on Sunday evening when they were going to be headed to school bright and early Monday morning.

Yes, I need to sort some more of our Bills especially Medical and see if we can get some Assistance from the hospital, etc on the larger owed ones. And we almost waited until last minute due to my husbands schedule on some important paperwork concerning our house.

I know you're just playing around, but many people who act like this aren't

@KrauseHome No. True. Some people are just bad about being this way. The only consolation is that most procrastinators never get ahead. It gives people who are not a leg up.

i used to be one to rush and get things done. these days it drives me crazy cause i have so many reasons to procrastinate. the pain of moving and dragging my tubing with me, etc. so yes, i procrastinate much more then i should.

Definitely housework. I took the vacuum cleaner out on Sunday. I haven't used it yet.

There's two things for me.. wash/ dry/ brush my hair, as it takes forever and can hurt my arms doing so. And scrubbing the shower walls, because of having to use bleach - ick.

I can relate - is it because you think it won't be perfect enough? That used to be my problem

I can absolutely relate. Housework is one thing I find difficukt tongrt done. I'll ask my other half to help prioritise the jobs and give me just a couple that need doing. Otherwise, I overwhelm myself trying to do everything.
It happens with other stuff too. I'll take on several jobs at once or I'll make plans to do things only to realise I've already got 100 things to do!
It's not that I can't or don't want to. I think it's thr thought of having too much to do or thinking one job will take longer than it does or rushing because you're lucky to have 5 minutes in between whatever else you've committed yourself to doing!

i procrastinate on house work too. i hate doing chores at home. i especially don't like sweeping and dusting because i have skin allergies and my skin would flare up with just one time of me dusting a small location. I also don't like ironing clothes so i always buy clothes that i do not need to iron. :P

Ah procrastination. It really is hard to go against it sometimes. It takes a whole lot of discipline to prevail over it. I have been in difficult situations before that could have been avoided if i didn't procrastinate!

I can relate to you too. Procrastination has been one of my biggest issues lately. Maybe because there are so many things running through my mind. I don't know how, when and where to start.
