Do you tell others when you help someone?

I don't prefer to tell anyone that I have helped someone. I mean why should I tell?
I am not doing it for my publicity. On the contrary, I am doing it for myself, for my peace. I have seen many people who post photos on different social medias showing that they are giving clothes or foods to others. I find these things very irritating.
Do you belong to this group? Say honestly.

This vary depending on the situation. There are people who help because they have hidden agenda; to create milestone as they say. There are also others helping sincerely without expecting in return. I think we can differentiate. And to be fair to those posting their activities in social media, maybe they do not intend to brag it but to inspire others to help.

The Holy Bible says not to do our good works before men, but to do them in secret, then God will reward us. If we do it for praise from people, we've already gotten our reward.

I keep it to myself. I don't do it for any publicity or hidden agenda. I don't want to put the receiver of help in a pity situation in front of others.
