I am sure you have had this happened to you.. if not all the time, well at least a significant number of times. =) When was the last time that you have to take our your wallet and spend for something out of the blue - like the car light got broken, you got sick and had to buy medicines, etc. I think this happens to us right, we thought we all got our expenses budgeted and covered only to realize that we need to shell out a few bucks for unexpected expenses.

How do we deal with this. What about a buffer fund especially for these.

That happens a lot. But many times the LPG seems to be the most frequent of them all. We could not see the level in the tank so were always caught unprepared for that eventuality when we ran out of LPG gas so we have to scramble every piece of money to afford buying one else we could not cook our food.

@chiyosan And what is annoying about that is it happens in the middle of cooking or at times it comes when it’s nighttime so finding a store that is open and can deliver is a challenge.

Well, that always happen to everyone. That is why, we have to have some savings for such emergencies. If you really don't have, then ask for a loan from your parents or friends. Pay them on your next pay.

Yes! as it turns out sometimes my unexpected expenses come from my mom who would unexpectedly ask to borrow some money haha =) but that's okay she uses it at home too especially when she orders special food, or treats and snacks etc.

The gates of our backyard kept being broken out of their hinges. I have spent quite a bit of money try to fix them. A real curse!

This happen to me many times especially when I got sick and having to spend too much with the medicines. The continuous increase of commodity prices will have a significant effect also and could take all the money we have especially if we are just salaried individual.

That's right Eds. as I am also a salaried individual, my budget included a few extras but never the unexpected expenses we are not ready for with our daily budget. of course it has to be taken out of a fund we saved up for.
