All of a sudden my desktop lcd monitor started to malfunction, as you can see to those black dots on the screen. Those black dots are actually to big in reality then they appear in the picture above. It all begun with a single little black spot, which use to increase daily and now its one of the biggest among the three. Its really frustrating as the first one seems to be increasing, this way it will soon cover the whole monitor I have tried connecting my PC to my TV but it seems not too comfortable to the eyes and so switched back to my old monitor. I hope to get it repaired before it completely blacks out. Image Credit:- My Own.

How about buying a new one? Sometimes, having it repaired will cost you more. If that's the case then you must consider buying a new monitor. If you have the new one, you could use it immediately when your old monitor finally ending its services with you.

That would be more wise, electric goods have a life span after that they start to malfunction. Even if I get it repaired no guarantee that some other problem won't be encountered later. Good to go for a new one

@nitirrbb7 Technicians will always recommend to get the new one if it's functioning for too long.

Most lcd or led monitors when spots appear needs to be replaced already. Repairing it may cost you like buying a new one in the end.

Uh Oh! its your laptop that's showing these signs in my case its desktop so getting only the monitor replaced would be must in cases of laptops its tough. I wish you get it repaired for less expense or it would be better to get a new one.

I hope that you are able to get it repaired or get a new one. I had to have viruses and things taken out of my computer just last week.

Yeah have plans to get a new one instead of repairing. Virus is more worst I have been hit a couple of times and its a real headache. Even having a antivirus is not worth it just slowdowns the computer tremendously.

I thought they’re part of the screen. Like a design or something.
